Tato práce se zabývá problematikou propojení sociální a zdravotní oblasti v péči o seniory od roku 2000 do současnosti. Sociálně zdravotní péče a její systémové zavedení má své opodstatnění vzhledem k trendu stárnutí populace díky stále se zlepšující zdravotní péči. Cílem práce je zhodnotit stav poskytované péče seniorům v této oblasti. Dále práce zjišťuje, jaké má tato oblast mezery, kde lze vzít inspiraci a co je zapotřebí začít řešit, aby systém poskytované péče do budoucna fungoval efektivněji a kvalitněji. V České republice je stále spíše upřednostňována péče ústavní před domácí péčí či terénními a ambulantními službami. Tou nejpřirozenější a efektivní formou péče často bývá ta rodinná. V sociální péči o seniory jsou nejpodstatnější a nejproblematičtější částí sociální služby. Integrace sociálně zdravotní péče znamená zajistit flexibilitu a kontinuitu, dostupnost služeb tak, aby byla sociální a zdravotní péče osobě poskytována primárně v domácím prostředí a v případě nutnosti, aby byla zajištěna možnost ústavní péče. Závěr práce shrnuje aktuální stav systému sociálně zdravotní péče a popisuje a zdůrazňuje možné úpravy ke zlepšení situace. This Bachelor thesis is preoccupied of a problem with connecting between social and health care for elderly people in the Czech Republic from 2000 to the present. Social-health care system implementation is justifiable because of the ageing population process caused by improvements in health care. The aim of this thesis to evaluate the social-health care system for elderly people. Moreover the thesis is focused on, how to improve the mentioned social-health care system, where to find an inspiration and what has to be solved to make more efficient and high-quality in the future. The institutional care is still being preferred rather than home care or field and ambulatory services in the Czech Republic. However probably the most natural and efficient is a family care for elderly people. In the system of social-health care of elderly people, the social services are the most problematic, but also the most essential. The integration of social-health care system should provide flexibility and continuity as well as accessibility of services that are mainly provided to the elderly people in their home environment in the first place. The institutional care should be provided only if necessary. The thesis conclusion summarizes the actual situation at the social-health care system, specify and point out the possible changes they could be made as well as places for improvement.
