Tato práce se zaměřuje na analýzu a vzájemnou komparaci kapitálových trhů České republiky, Slovenska, Polska a Maďarska, zvláště pak na jejich vývoj od 90. let. V teoretické části práce je zdůrazněna důležitost institutu burzy v moderní ekonomice. Dále se tato část soustředí na vývoj světového a následně lokálního burzovnictví. Všechny vybrané ekonomiky byly zásadně ovlivněny implementací socialistického režimu a lokální kapitálové trhy bylo nutné konsolidovat. Praktická část práce zkoumá zejména rozdílný charakter a v důsledku i aktuální významnost vybraných subjektů. Z této části práce vyplývají zejména závěry, že polský kapitálový trh výrazně dominuje v oblasti obchodů s finančními intrumenty, český a maďarský kapitálový trh se vyznačují podobnou úrovní a slovenský je ve středoevropském kontextu zcela nevýznamný. This thesis focuses on analysis and mutual comparison of capital markets of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, particularly on their development since the 90s. In the theoretical part is emphasized the importance of the stock exchange establishment in the contemporary economic system. Furthermore, this section focuses on the development of the global and then local stock exchange system. All selected economies were significantly affected by the implementation of the socialist regime and it was necessary to consolidate local capital markets. The analytical part examines differing form and actual importance of selected entities. The main conclusions of this part of the work are that the Polish capital market significantly dominates, Czech and Hungarian capital market are distinguished by similar levels of their capital markets and Slovak market is completely unimportant in the Central European context.
