Cílem této bakalářské práce je představení česko-britských vztahů a prozkoumání kulturních specifik Velké Británie. Dílčím cílem práce je analýza ekonomického prostředí Velké Británie. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol. První kapitola práce je zaměřena na všeobecnou charakteristiku země. Ve druhé kapitole se věnuji ekonomické charakteristice země, která zahrnuje analýzu základních makroekonomických ukazatelů a popisuje také zahraniční obchod země. Následující kapitola je již zaměřena na česko-britské obchodní vztahy. Při vstupu na nový trh je nepochybně velice důležité prostudovat si kulturní odlišnosti a zvyky při obchodním jednání. Znalost těchto odlišností zájemcům o trh poskytne nedocenitelnou výhodu, proto se ve čtvrté kapitole věnuji britské kultuře a obchodnímu jednání. Poslední kapitola zahrnuje vyjádření odborníků z praxe. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the business relations between the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom and to analyse the cultural specifics of the UK. Another goal of the thesis is the analysis of the economical environment of the UK. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is focused on the basic information about the country. In the second chapter I pay attention to the British economy, including the analysis of the basic macroeconomic facts and the international trade of the country. The next chapter deals with the Czech-British business relations. When entering a foreign market it is highly important to study the cultural differences of a country and its customs during business negotiations. The knowledge of these differences brings a big advantage for those interested in a market, therefore the fourth chapter is focused on this topic. The last chapter includes the opinions of the businessmen on the Czech and British market.
