Feti method is based on decomposition of the spatial solution domain into non- overlaping sub-domains that are held together by the Lagrange multipliers. After eliminating the primal variables the original problem is transformed to a small, relatively well conditioned quadratic programming problem in the dual variables. Metoda FETI je založena na rozložení prostorové oblasti řešení na nepřekrývající se podoblasti, které jsou drženy pohromadě Lagrangeovskými multiplikátory. Po eliminaci primárních proměnných je původní problém přetransformován na malé a relativně dobře podmíněné problémy kvadratického programování v duální proměnné.
