Tato práce řeší problematiku tělesně postižených osob a jejich integraci ve společnosti. Cílem práce je porovnání kvality života osob se získaným a vrozeným postižením a dokázat či vyvrátit fakt, že i postižení jedinci mohou vést plnohodnotný život. V řešení bylo použito kvalitativní metody v podobě individuálních rozhovorů. Provedeným výzkumem jsem potvrdila, že i osoby s postižením jsou schopny vést kvalitní život, záleží však na různých skutečnostech jako je rodinné zázemí, pracovní místo či osobnost člověka. Přínosem práce je ucelený teoretický přehled o problematice tělesně postižených, ale také pohled do světa těchto osob jejich očima. The thesis tackles the issue of physically disabled individuals and their integration in society. The aim of the thesis is to compare quality of life between people with inborn and acquired disability and to prove or disprove that even disabled individuals are able to live their life to the fullest. Aim is achieved through qualitative research method of individual interviews. Research proves that even physically disabled people can achieve high quality of life, but it also depends on various circumstances such as family background, work position and individual personality. The benefit of the thesis is to provide compact view of the issue of physically disabled, but also to provide their point of view on the world.
