Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza komunálních voleb v Ostravě v roce 2014. V teoretické části se práce věnuje pojmu obec, komunálním volbám a typologii koalic. V druhé části práce jsou prezentovány výsledky komunálních voleb v Ostravě během let 1994-2010. Ohniskem bakalářské práce je analýza výsledků komunálních voleb v roce 2014, která je založená na komparaci s dosavadním vývojem. Východisko této analýzy bude sloužit k zodpovězení výzkumné otázky, zda v daných volbách došlo k odklonu voličských preferencí od tradičních a dosavadně nejčastěji volených politických subjektů během komunálních voleb v Ostravě. The aim of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of municipal elections in Ostrava in 2014. The thesis consists of theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the concepts of a community, a city and municipal elections. The second part presents the results of municipal elections in Ostrava during the years 1994-2010. The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the results of municipal elections in 2014 in comparison with the previous political development in Ostrava. The results of this analysis will be used to answer the research question, whether there was a change in traditional voters preferences.
