The impact of wind turbines and wind farms on the power grid is becoming increasingly important and much attention has recently been paid to the issues associated with operation of wind turbines in power systems. One of the most important power quality problems caused by wind power plants are large fluctuations of generated power due to varying wind speed and due to the construction of the wind turbine itself Kolísání rychlosti větru a zejména větrný stín stožáru může způsobovat kolísání činného i jalového výkonu generovaného větrnými elektrárnami. Výsledný jev kolísání napětí zhoršuje kvalitu výkonu v připojené síti. Použití dvojitě napájených strojů řízených vhodnou metodou může podstatně snížit vliv těchto jevů. V příspěvku je analyzováno a diskutováno vektorové řízení dvojitě napájených strojů s ohledem na kompenzaci kolísavé mechanické rychlosti u větrných turbin
