Tato práce zkoumá dopady pěstování palmy olejné a obchodu s palmovým olejem na ekonomiku Indonésie, největšího producenta a exportéra palmového oleje na světě. Čtenář se seznámí s aktuální ekonomickou situací Indonésie, obchodem s palmovým olejem a jeho ekonomickými, sociálními a environmentálními dopady na Indonésii. V závěru autor nabízí přehled možných řešení negativních dopadů prostřednictvím certifikace palmového oleje, např. dle organizace Kulatý stůl o udržitelné produkci palmového oleje. This thesis examines the impacts of oil palm cultivation and palm oil trade on the economy of Indonesia, the largest producer and exporter of palm oil in the world. The reader will be familiar with the current economic situation in Indonesia, trade with palm oil and its economic, social and environmental impacts on Indonesia. In conclusion, the author offers an overview of possible solutions to the negative impacts through certification of palm oil e.g. by organization Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.
