Spojenectví je v současné době považováno za jeden z nejzajímavějších nástrojů ovlivnění mezinárodní politiky. Americko-izraelské vztahy v kontextu izraelsko-palestinských sporů jsou hlavním tématem předkládané bakalářské práce. První kapitola se bude zabývat definováním pojmu spojenectví, okolnostmi jeho vzniku, klasifikací typů tohoto nástroje zahraniční politiky a také zkoumáním alianci v obecné perspektivě a ve vztahů k malým státům. Druhá kapitola je věnována bezpečnostním aspektům americko-izraelského spojenectví, přičemž důraz je kladen na rozbor této formy spolupráce v kontextu jednání mezi Izraelem a Palestinou. Třetí kapitola se bude zaobírat problematikou vztahů mezi spojenci ve veřejné dimenzi za použití analýzy průzkumů veřejného mínění pomocí dat, jež poskytují jednotlivé agentury. V poslední části bude rovněž zmíněn dopad izraelské lobby na formování veřejného postoje Spojených států vůči Izraeli. Cílem práce je určit, zda typ spojenectví mezi USA a Izraelem napomáhá vyřešení izraelsko-palestinského konfliktu či naopak situaci komplikuje. Alliance is considered to be one of the most interesting tools of influencing international policy. US-Israeli relations in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian dispute are the main topic of this thesis.The first chapter focuses on defining the concept of alliance, circumstances of its origin, type classification of this instrument of foreign policy, as well as examining the alliance in a general perspective and in relation to small states. The second chapter is devoted to the security aspects of the US-Israeli alliance, with an emphasis on the analysis of this form of cooperation in the context of negotiations between Israel and Palestine. The third chapter deals with issues of relations between allies in the public dimension using an analysis of public opinion surveys.In the last part will be also mentioned the impact of the Israeli lobby in shaping public attitudes of the United States.The aim is to determine whether the type of alliance between the US and Israel helps to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict or, conversely, complicates the situation.
