Cílem mé práce je seznámit čtenáře s významem japonských investic pro Českou republiku jako jednu z nejatraktivnějších zemí v regionu střední Evropy. Zkoumám jejich vývoj, dopady a přínosy pro Českou republiku, zda hrály velkou roli a jak se budou pravděpodobně vyvíjet do budoucna. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do 3 částí. V první kapitole jsem se zaměřil na definice přímých zahraničních investic. Definuji zde jejich účel a cíle, které s nimi chtějí investoři dosáhnout. V další kapitole jsem popsal vývoj japonských zahraničních investic na světě. Dále jsem se zaměřil na vývoj japonských investic v Evropě a to hlavně na země střední Evropy, zejména na Polsko, Slovensko a Maďarsko. V poslední kapitole popisuji japonské investice v České republice. V této kapitole jsem dal důraz na japonské společnosti působící v České republice. The aim of my thesis is to introduce the readers to the importance of Japanese investment in the Czech Republic as one of the most attractive countries in Central Europe. I have divided my thesis into 3 chapters. The first chapter is focused on the definition of foreign direct investment. I define their purpose and goals that investors want to achieve. In the second chapter I describe the development of Japanese investment in Central Europe, especially Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. In the last chapter, I describe Japanese investment in the Czech Republic. In thispart, i put emphasis on Japanese companies that are operating in the Czech Republic.
