Bakalářská práce analyzuje vliv hypotečních společností Freddie Mac a Fannie Mae na finanční krizi v USA. Nejprve se zabývá historií těchto společností. Následně analyzuje fungování amerického hypotečního trhu a jeho regulaci. Vysvětluje také jednotlivé klíčové ekonomické pojmy. Posléze pojednává o politice těchto společností a analyzuje jejich odlišnosti. Práce dále řeší náhlý růst amerického hypotečního trhu. Následně práce analyzuje možné příčiny finanční krize a dává je do souvislostí s politikou a jednáním hypotečních společností. Opomenuty nejsou ani bailouty a dotace. V neposlední řadě práce pojednává o převzetí společností a rozebírá možné důvody. V závěru se zmiňuje o dnešním postavení společností a nastiňuje její možné směřování do budoucnosti. Výsledkem práce je potvrzení vlivu společností Freddie Mac a Fannie Mae na finanční krizi v USA. This work looks at influence of mortgage companies Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae on the financial crisis in the USA. First deals with their history. Afterwards, it analyses functioning and regulations of American mortgage market and explains the key economic terms. After it discusses companies policy and examines their differences. The work deals with the sudden growth of American mortgage market. Then it research possible causes of financial crisis and connects it with actions and politics of mortgage companies. There is also dealt with the bailouts and subsidies. At last but not least, the work examines the government takeover action and outlines its possible reasons. At last it mentions today's Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae positions on market and sketches their possible future course. The result is a confirmation of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae impact on the financial crisis.
