Cílem práce je posoudit současný stav na trhu informačních a komunikačních technologií, respektive softwarových systémů ovlivňujících logistiku v rámci podniků: "Enterprise Resource Planning" ("ERP"), Supply Chain Management ("SCM") a Warehouse Management Systems ("WMS") a následně porovnat předložený popis činnosti procesu strategického opatřování s praxí v podobě projektového řízení při uvažování celkových nákladů na vlastnictví po dobu životního cyklu opatřovaného ERP. The aim of the thesis is to assess current situation on the market of information and communication technologies, especially software systems influencing logistics within companies: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and then to compare presented description of strategic sourcing with the practice of project management considering the total cost of ownership over the life cycle of supplied ERP.
