Diplomová práce pojednává o vstupu Vietnamu do WTO a jaký vliv má členství v této organizaci na ekonomiku země. Již během přístupové procedury Vietnam provedl změny legislativy, aby byla v souladu s principy a pravidly WTO. Dále se Vietnam zavázal snížit celní sazby a otevřít sektor služeb přeshraničnímu obchodu a zahraničnímu kapitálu. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat vliv těchto změn v ekonomice. V práci se zaměřuji zejména na dopady na zahraniční obchod a přímé zahraniční investice, které byly ovlivněny snížením celních sazeb a lepšího investičního a podnikatelského prostředí. V návaznosti na tyto změny došlo i k proměnám ve struktuře zaměstnanosti, které zkoumám v poslední části diplomové práce. The thesis discusses the accession of Vietnam to the WTO and the influence of the membership of this organization for the country's economy. Already during the accession procedure Vietnam made changes to the legislation to bring it in line with the principles and rules of the WTO. Furthermore, Vietnam committed to reduce tariffs and open up the services sector to cross-border trade and foreign capital. The thesis aims to analyze the impact of these changes on the economy. The work focuses mainly on the impact on foreign trade and foreign direct investment, which were influenced by the reduction of tariffs and better investment and business environment. Following these changes, structure of employment also changed which is examined in the last part of the thesis.
