Migration is an important global phenomenon which is continuously growing due to globalization processes. The objective of this thesis is to determine whether the integration and immigration policy of the Czech Republic contributes to the integration of immigrants into mainstream society or not. The aim is achieved through primary research and analysis of technical texts. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on defining key terminology related to integration and immigration policy. The second chapter deals with the development of Czech integration and immigration legislation. The last chapter applies theoretical knowledge to actual immigrants living in the Czech Republic.
