Energetický průmysl patří mezi významnou strategickou oblast ovlivňující ekonomickou konkurenceschopnost každé země. Ekonomika jednotlivých zemí vyžaduje zajistit bezpečnou energetiku a také fungující energetické trhy. Důraz na zvýšení energetické účinnosti a investování do stále snadněji získatelných alternativních zdrojů energie může zesílit nezávislost zemí EU především na energetických zdrojích a ušetřit tak finance vynakládané na spotřebu fosilních paliv. Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou dostupnosti energetických zdrojů. Cílem diplomové práce je vzájemně porovnat produkci energie z neobnovitelných a obnovitelných zdrojů energie v ČR a vybraných státech EU. Dále bude zkoumán vztah mezi spotřebou energií, cenami energií, HDP, průmyslovou produkcí a cenami průmyslových výrobců. Pro znázornění vztahu mezi jednotlivými faktory je využita korelační analýza. The energy industry is ranked among the important strategic field affecting the economic competitiveness of each country. The economy of each country requires to ensure secure energetics and also functioning energy markets. The emphasis on increasing energy efficiency and investing in still more easily obtainable alternative energy sources can enhance the independence of the EU countries, particularly on energy resources and save finances spent on consumption of fossil fuels. The diploma thesis deals with the availability of energy sources. The aim of the diploma thesis is to compare the energy production from renewable and nonrenewable energy sources in the Czech Republic and selected EU countries. Relation between the energy consumption, the energy prices, the GDP, the industrial production and the industrial producer prices are being explored further. As to depict the relation between these factors, the methods of correlation analysis have been used.
