Tato práce je zaměřena na problematiku reportingu. Cílem práce je poskytnout základní přehled o pojmech a technologiích spojených s reportingem a na konkrétním příkladu sázkové kanceláře demonstrovat jeho neobvyklé užití. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je zaměřena především na získání náhledu na uvedené téma. Jsou zde vymezeny pojmy, základní principy a technologie používané pro reporting. V rámci této části je popsána optimální reportovací struktura a také zpracována analýza současného stavu na trhu komerčních reportovacích nástrojů. V praktické části je zpracováno možné zadání pro oblast reportingu. Výstupem jsou dva ukázkové reporty. První se zabývá analýzou vsazených tiketů a druhý napomáhá při stanovování kurzu sázek. Na těchto praktických příkladech je prezentován postup vývoje reportu a to od jeho zadaní businessem, přes definování reportingové struktury, provedení ETL úprav v nástroji IBM InfoSphere DataStage, vývoj samotného reportu pomocí sady nástrojů IBM Cognos 8 BI, až po rozbor výsledného reportu. This thesis is focused on problems of reporting. Its goal is to provide a basic overview of concepts and technologies associated with reporting and demonstrate its unusual use on real-world example of a betting agency. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused primarily on getting insight into the subject. Concepts, basic principles and technologies used for reporting are defined here. In this part the optimal reporting structure is described and also an analysis of current state of the market of commercial reporting tools is prepared. The real-world problem of reporting is described in the practical part. Two exemplary reports are the output. The first analyzes the bet ticket and the other helps determine the courses of bets. On these practical examples there is shown the development consecution of the report from its business submission, business structure definition, ETL arrangements in IBM InfoSphere DataStage, development of the report using IBM Cognos 8 BI toolkit, till the analysis of the final report.
