Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou, návrhem a v neposlední řadě implementací databázového řešení pro hotely a penziony. Hlavním cílem této práce je navrhnout provozuschopné databázové řešení pokrývající funkčnost rezervačního, online přístupového, fakturačního a reklamačního systému. Jedná se tedy o komplexní databázové řešení poskytující informační podporu jak při běžném provozu, tak i pro práci managementu. Vedlejšími stanovenými cíli jsou způsoby, jakými bude databáze využívána, a identifikace uživatele, který bude databázi využívat. Celá práce je zpracována na základě vlastních zkušeností s danou problematikou. První část této práce představuje systémy pracující s touto databází, nejsou tím myšleny konkrétní aplikace, ale pouze v obecné rovině vymezené systémy, u kterých je nastíněna možná využitelnost této databáze. Druhá část se věnuje možnostem, které databáze přináší pro konkrétní osoby přicházející do styku s touto databází. Třetí část popisuje konceptuální datový model, proto se seznámíme s významem všech jeho entit a vztahů, zároveň tato část objasňuje použití integritních omezení. Čtvrtá část představuje další integritní omezení a věnuje se přizpůsobení databáze pro RDBMS Oracle Database Express Edition 10g, ve kterém byla databáze z hlediska funkčnosti testována. Poslední část se věnuje návrhu bezpečnostních opatření. Tato část obsahuje definici přístupových oprávnění k tabulkám, dále představuje vytvořené pohledy, které uživatelům omezují množství viditelných dat, a v neposlední řadě uložené procedury sloužící k automatizaci některých činností. This bachelor's thesis presents an analysis, design and implementation of a database solution for hotels and guest houses. The main objective of the thesis is to design an efficient database solution covering the functionality of booking, online access, invoicing and complaints systems. It is a comprehensive database solution providing information support both in normal operation and for management work. The secondary objectives can be defined as methods of using the database and the identification of the database user. The thesis has been prepared based on my own experience. The first part of the thesis introduces the systems using the database; this does not refer to any specific applications but only to generally defined systems for which the thesis outlines a potential use for the database. The second part deals with the possibilities offered by the database for specific persons who come in contact with this database. The third part describes a conceptual data model, explaining all its entities and relationships and clarifying the use of integrity constraints. The fourth part introduces another integrity constraint and analyses a database adjustment for RDBMS Oracle Database Express Edition 10g, in which the functionality of the database was tested. The last part proposes security measures and defines access authorizations for tables, introduces created views limiting the volume of data visible for users, and stored procedures serving to automate certain activities.
