Práce se zabývá otázkou, jak vychovatelé/vychovatelky v dětském domově rodinného typu vnímají svou vychovatelskou roli. Teoretická část charakterizuje instituci dětského domova z právního hlediska. Dále popisuje příčiny umístění dětí do dětského domova, vývoj dítěte, problém psychické deprivace a roli vychovatele/vychovatelky z hlediska pedagogiky a z hlediska psychologie. Praktická část se zabývá výzkumnou otázkou, jak vnímají vychovatelé/vychovatelky v dětském domově rodinného typu specifičnost své vychovatelské role. Výzkum je uskutečněn pomocí rozhovorů a jejich následného vyhodnocení. Ze závěru vyplývá, že dětský domov rodinného typu se jeví jako svět na hranici mezi ústavem a rodinou, což je emocionální zátěž zejména pro vychovatelky, které vkládají velkou energii do rodinných vztahů s dětmi, ale děti zažívají zařízení pouze jako ústav. The thesis investigates how educators in Children's Home family type perceive their educational role. The first part characterizes the institution of children's home from a legal perspective. Secondly, it describes the reasons for placing children to children's home, child development, the problem of psychological deprivation and the role of educator in terms of pedagogy and psychology. The practical part of the research investigates the question of how children's home educators perceive Children's Home family type the specificity of their educational role. The research was conducted by means of interviews and their subsequent analysis. It is concluded that children's home of a family type seems to be a world on the border of an institute and family, which is an emotional burden especially for educators, they put a lot of energy into family relationships with children, but children experience is only as a institute.
