Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat časový vývoj zisku konkrétního podniku. Prostřednictvím finanční analýzy jsou identifikovány faktory, které ovlivňují jeho strukturu a velikost. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem zisk a jsou popsány jeho kategorie, zdroje informací o něm a způsoby, jak jej zvýšit. Dále je tato část zaměřena na ukazatele rentability a jejich pyramidový rozklad. V praktické části je nejprve představena vybraná společnost a následně je analyzována struktura zisku podniku na základě vybraných položek z účetních výkazů. Poté je posuzován vývoj ukazatelů rentability mezi lety 2010 a 2014 a hodnoty těchto ukazatelů jsou srovnány s průměrem v odvětví. Pyramidový rozklad zisku na dílčí ukazatele a logaritmická metoda pomohou identifikovat faktory ovlivňující zisk a posoudit tak finanční situaci podniku. The aim of this bachelor paper is to analyse a profit development of certain company in the course of time. The factors which influence its structure and size are identified by using a financial analysis. In the theoretical part, the term of profit is explained and its categories, sources of information about them and ways of the profit increasing are described. Then this part is focused on the profitability ratios and their pyramidal decomposition. In the practical part, the selected company is introduced at first and then the profit structure is analysed on the base of the selected items of the financial statements. The development of the profitability ratios is assessed between the years of 2010 and 2014 and compared with the industry average. The pyramidal decomposition of the profit into the sub-indicators and the logarithmic method help to indentify the factors which influence the profit and assess the financial situation of the company.
