Ve své práci se zabývám především přípravou účasti na veletrhu cestovního ruchu ze strany krajských úřadů (konkrétně Krajského úřadu Karlovarského kraje). Cílem mé práce je poskytnout systematický přehled všech povinností a aktivit, které jsou s takovouto účastí na veletrhu přímo i nepřímo spojené. V první kapitole rozebírám veletrhy z teoretického hlediska a zbytek práce je soustředěn na konkrétní kroky krajských úřadů - od podání přihlášky, shánění dotací, až do samotného vyhodnocení účasti na veletrhu. Jako praktickou ukázku jsem vybrala veletrh cestovního ruchu Holiday World 2010, kterého se Karlovarský kraj zúčastnil jako hlavní vystavovatel. In my bachelor thesis I discuss participation in trade fair for the travel and tourism industry by the regional authority (specifically the Regional Authority of Karlovy Vary Region). The goal of the thesis is to give a systematic view of all obligations and activities that are directly and indirectly connected with this participation. In the first chapter I anylyse trade fairs from a theoretical point of view and next focus on particular steps regional authorities must take - from an application, to getting donations to actual part at the trade fairs. As a practical example I have choosen the Holiday World 2010 trade fair, where the Karlovy Vary Region took part as a main exhibitor.
