Cílem bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit přehled nejvýznamnějších masných plemen prasat chovaných v České republice, jedná se o plemena bílé otcovské, duroc, hampshire a pietrain. U jednotlivých plemen je uvedena historie chovu, plemenný standard a užitkovost. Dále je tato práce zaměřena na vývoj početních stavů prasnic jednotlivých plemen v kontrole užitkovosti v letech 2000 až 2011, počet vrhů u jednotlivých plemen prasat v letech 2000 až 2011, počet testovaných prasniček jednotlivých plemen v letech 2000 až 2011 a počet testovaných kanečků jednotlivých plemen v letech 2000 až 2011. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to create an overview of the most important meat breeds of pigs breed in the Czech republic. In the Czech republic bred breeds are father white, duroc, hampshire and pietrain. For individual breeds are listed history of the breed, breeding standard and performance. Furthermore, this work focuses on the development of the numbers of sows individual breeds of pigs in the performance test in the years 2000-2011. The number of litters with individual breeds of pigs in the years 2000-2011. Number of tested gilts individual breeds of pigs in the years 2000-2011 and number of young male pigs tested in the years 2000-2011.
