Bakalářská práce se zabývá křovináři rodu Bothrops. Cílem práce bylo zjistit jejich nároky na prostředí a získat přehled o jejich životě. V první části práce najdeme popis jednotlivých druhů a jejich bionomii, ohrožení, ekologii a jejich kontakt s lidmi, kdy dochází k uštknutí. Ve druhé části proběhla pozorování ve volné přírodě, kdy bylo navštíveno několik zemí Latinské Ameriky a to Nikaragua, Kostarika, Panama a Bolívie. K pozorování došlo pouze v Panamě a Kostarice. Proběhlo také pozorování vybraných druhů křovinářů v lidské péči. Následně došlo k porovnání s jinými autory ohledně pozorování v přírodě na stejných lokalitách a i porovnání podmínek chovu v zajetí. Bachelor's thesis deals with lanceheads of genus Bothrops. Main aim of this work was to find out their demands on the environment and get overview about their life. In the first part of the thesis we find description of individual species and their bionomics, threat level, ecology and encounters with people, when the snakebites can occur. In the second part the observations in the wild was realized, where several countries of Latin America, namely Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Bolivia were visited. The observation was successful only in Panama and Costa Rica. Also observations in captivity were carried out. After that we included comparison with another authors about the observation in the wild on the same localities and even the comparison of care conditions in the captivity.
