Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám etnickým konfliktem na území Kosova od středověku až po současnost, a to především faktory, které vedly k jeho vzniku a eskalaci, jeho dynamikou, způsoby řešení a současnou situací.Faktory, které vedly ke vzniku a eskalaci etnického konfliktu v Kosovu jsou povahy etnické a kulturní, politické a socioekonomické, navzájem se po dobu vývoje konfliktu doplňovaly a ovlivňovaly a výsledkem byl a stále je závažný a dlouhotrvající konflikt mezi dvěma etniky, které v Kosovu žijí -- kosovskými Srby a Albánci. Na vývoji etnického konfliktu v Kosovu můžeme pozorovat různé způsoby jeho řešení -- jak konfliktní tak nekonfliktní. Přesto tato řešení v minulosti nepřispěla k definitivnímu vyřešení situace a fáze latentního konfliktu se několikrát střídaly s fázemi eskalace konfliktu.V roce 2008 vyhlásilo Kosovo nezávislost na Srbsku, které však tento akt považuje za nelegální, stejně jako například Rusko. Většina států EU a NATO však nezávislou Republiku Kosovo uznává. Otázka nezávislosti Kosova a etnický konflikt v Kosovu vůbec tak ovlivňuje mezinárodní vztahy a názorově rozděluje mezinárodní společenství. This bachelor thesis deals with the ethnic conflict in Kosovo from the Middle Ages to the present with the special focus on factors which have led to its outbreak and escalation, on its dynamics, ways of resolution and current situation.Factors, which have led to the outbreak and escalation of the ethnic conflict in Kosovoare of ethnic and cultural, political, social and economic nature, they complement and influence each other and the result was and still is very serious and lingering conflict between two ethnic groups which inhabit Kosovo -- Kosovo Serbs and Albanians.On the case of Kosovo we can observe many different ways of conflict resolution -- both conflict and non-conflict ones. Nevertheless, these efforts have not contributed to the final resolution of the situation and phases of latent conflict have many times varies with phases of escalation. In 2008 Kosovo declared independence on Serbia which however considers this act as illegal, as well as for example Russia. On the other hand, most of the countries of the EU and NATO recognised the independent Republic of Kosovo. The problem of Kosovo's independence and ethnic conflict in Kosovo in general influences international relations and divides international community.
