The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to compare the Jewish and Roma holocaust during the Second World War. The first part of the work serves as an introduction to the political career of Adolf Hitler who rendered racism a national ideology and the anti-Jewish and anti-Roma measures that followed his appointment to the office, first in Germany and later in all the annexed territories. The main part is devoted to the description of preparation, execution and subsequent acknowledgement of the Jewish and Roma holocaust at the area of Bohemia and Moravia. The final chapter then compares the two holocausts with focus on the investigated territory. Cílem bakalářské práce je srovnání židovského a romského holocaustu za druhé světové války. První část představuje politickou kariéru Adolfa Hitlera, který povýšil rasismus na národní ideologii a protižidovská a protiromská opatření, která následovala po jeho zvolení do úřadu, nejdříve v Německu a poté ve všech okupovaných zemích. Hlavní část práce se věnuje popisu přípravy, realizace a následného uznání židovského a romského holocaustu na území Čech a Moravy. Závěrečná část nabízí srovnání obou holocaustů ve zmíněných oblastech.
