Ve své absolventské práci se zaměřím na roli hraběta Almavivy z opery Wolfganga Amadea Mozarta Figarova svatba. Kromě zpochybnění nepřesných a matoucích informací, které se o Mozartově opeře objevují v populární literatuře, bych se chtěl zaměřit na charakterový vývoj postavy hraběte Almavivy.V další části vzpomenu jednoho z prvních představitelů této role, kterým byl Luigi Bassi, poté se zmíním o současném představiteli hraběte Almavivy Dmitrim Hvorostovském a dalších významných zahraničních i tuzemských umělcích a uvedu výčet nejznámějších nahrávek této opery. V závěru práce se zaměřím na osobní zkušenosti s jevištní interpretací Figarovy svatby. In my thesis I will focus on the role of Count Almaviva from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart opera The Marriage of Figaro. I will try to challenge innacurate and confusing information, which are ocasionally published in popular literature and I will especially focus on the development of the character of Count Almaviva. Further in my thesis I will mention one of the first interprets of the role Dmitry Hvostovsky and other major international and local opera singers performing the Count Almaviva character. I will also list the most interesting recordings of the opera. In coclusion of my thesis I will concentrate on my personal experience with the stage interpretation of Count Almaviva in four different production of The Marriage of Figaro.
