Bakalářská práce se zabývá ochranou spotřebitele při nakupování přes internet v České republice i Evropské unii. První kapitola se věnuje internetu a internetovému obchodování. V druhé části, která je zaměřena na právní prostředí České republiky, je popsán vztah mezi spotřebitelem a podnikatelem od návrhu na uzavření smlouvy až po vyřízení případné reklamace. V kapitole věnované Evropské unii jsou popsány způsoby, kterými EU chrání své spotřebitele, a největší pozornost je věnována nejdůležitějším směrnicím, které se týkají internetového nakupování. Směrnice jsem se snažila porovnat s jejich implementací do českého právního řádu. V poslední kapitole jsou nastíněny možnosti a perspektivy internetového obchodování a ochrany spotřebitele v tomto prostředí. The thesis deals with the protection of a consumer when shopping online, both areas of the Czech Republic and the European Union are covered. In the first part of my thesis I focus on the internet and online shopping. In the second part I concentrate on the legal environment of the Czech Republic, in detail I describe the relation between the consumer and the enterpreneur from a draft contract to sales returns. In the European Union part the ways how the EU protects consumers are described and the main attention is given to the most important directives that concern the online shopping. I tried to compare them with their implementation into the Czech legal system. In the last part of my thesis I tried to illustrate the possibilities and prospects of online shopping as well as of consumer protection in this particular environment.
