První kapitola práce popisuje Churchillův život od dětství do vstupu do politiky. Ve druhé kapitole formuluje proměny Churchillovy osobnosti v britské politice do první světové války. Třetí kapitola je věnována jeho názorům na politiku appeasementu a osobní politickou izolaci. Ve čtvrté kapitole je obsahem druhá světová válka a vrchol Churchillovi kariéry. Poslední kapitola se zabývá poválečným uspořádáním, realitou studené války a postavením Británie v mezinárodních vztazích. The first chapter describes Churchill's life from childhood to enter into politics. In the second chapter sets out changes in Churchill's personality in British politics in the First World War. The third chapter is devoted to his views on a policy of appeasement and political isolation of the individual. The fourth chapter is contained in the Second World War and Churchill's career peak. The last chapter deals with the post-war arrangements, the reality of the Cold War and Britain status in international relations.
