Tato diplomová práce se zabývá současnou hospodářskou situací na trhu Evropské unie a dále podrobně v České republice, Velké Británii a Švédsku. Jsou zde analyzovány tyto tři státy z důvodu odlišného přístupu k podnikání, ekonomice a sociálním záležitostem. Hlavním úkolem této diplomové práce je zhodnotit podmínky pro podnikatele v EU a v těchto třech zemích zvlášť a zodpovědět otázky: "Je výhodné začít podnikat v době finanční krize? V kterém z těchto tří států jsou nejvýhodnější podmínky pro podnikatele?". První část pojednává o přístupu Evropské unie k malým, středním podnikům a uvádí dostupné programy pro začínající podnikatele. V další části jsou analyzovány podmínky pro podnikatele v uvedených třech zemích, důraz je kladen na daňové sazby, podmínky pro zaměstnavatele, rychlost a poplatky související se založením společnosti a další praktické záležitosti. Do poslední části je zařazen podnikatelský plán na otevření dámského obchodu s textilem s podrobnou kalkulací nákladů. Na základě těchto údajů lze zhodnotit výhodnost tohoto druhu podnikání v hlavních městech České republiky, Velké Británie a Švédska s ohledem na místní podmínky, ceny nájmů, ostatních nákladů a v neposlední řadě reálné tržby, kterých lze v dnešní době dosáhnout. This diploma project deals with the current economic situation in European Union market and subsequently in the Czech Republic, Great Britain and Sweden. The analysis of the above mentioned countries was chosen due to the different conditions in doing business and approach to social and economic issues. The main purpose of this project is to find out the conditions for doing business in these three chosen countries. Following questions should be answered: "Is it beneficial to settle business during the financial crisis? Which of the chosen countries has the most optimal conditions for businessmen?" The first part of the diploma project deals with approach of the European Union to small and medium companies and describes the programs which serve as a support for business. In subsequent parts of the diploma project there are exact information for businessmen about above mentioned countries (tax rates, conditions for employees, availability of business establishment and related fees). In the last part of the diploma project there is a particular business plan describing the establishment of the fashion shop for ladies with detailed calculation of costs. Based on the analysis it is possible to classify expediency of this kind of business in capitals of the Czech Republic, Great Britain and Sweden considering domestic conditions, rental costs, other operating costs and real revenues which can be reached in this tough time.
