[cze][eng] Současný stav: Nové trendy v medicíně a následně i v ošetřovatelství mění postupně nejen samotný pohled společnosti na povolání sestry, ale zároveň zvyšují požadavky na vědomosti a dovednosti člověka, který toto povolání vykonává. Společnost si ale neuvědomuje samotnou náročnost této profese, která může mít nejen pozitivní, ale i negativní dopad na partnerské soužití a rodinný život sester, které se snaží lidem pomáhat a podporovat je nejen ve zdraví, ale i v nemoci. Předmět: Hlavním záměrem výzkumného šetření byla hloubková analýza nejen samotného povolání sestry ve společnosti, ale především snaha zmapovat, jaký dopad má tato profese na soukromí sestry. Metodika: Cílem tohoto výzkumu byla snaha porozumět všem aspektům povolání a zároveň prozkoumat vliv této profese na soukromí. Z těchto důvodů bylo vhodné zvolit kvalitativní metodu šetření, která je osobnější, a jejíž pomocí je možné proniknout do dané problematiky hlouběji. Hlavní výzkumné šetření bylo provedeno pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, který byl vždy uskutečněn v prostředí určeném respondentem. Rozhovor probíhal odděleně z důvodu možného získání nových poznatků, event. možného srovnání rozdílných postojů genderové vyváženosti. Otevřené otázky byly pokládány relativně široce z důvodu umožnění rozsáhlejších odpovědí, proto nebylo vždy nutné pokládat všechny otázky a jejich pořadí nebylo striktně dáno. Současně s rozhovory byly použity i jiné metody šetření, a to jak kvalitativního typu, které pouze dokreslovaly atmosféru během rozhovorů, tak i kvantitativního, kterou představovala anonymní anketa. Anketa nebyla dopředu naplánovaná a pouze se zaobírala obecnou rovinou povolání sestry. Výzkumný soubor: Objektem výzkumného šetření byly partnerské nebo manželské dvojice s různou délkou společného soužití, kdy zároveň jeden z páru pracoval ve zdravotnictví jako sestra. Celkový počet respondentů byl 16, z toho 8 žen, sester a 8 mužů, partnerů sester. Anonymní ankety se zúčastnilo 210 respondentů. Present status: New trends in medicine and consequently in nursing gradually do not only change the view of society of the occupation of nurse, but they also increase requirements for knowledge and skills a person doing this job has. However, society does not realize the intensity of this profession which can have both positive and negative impacts on partnerships and family lives of nurses who strive to help and support people, whether they are healthy or ill. Objective: The main objective of the research survey was not only a deep analysis of the occupation of nurse in the society, but especially the effort to map the impact the profession has on the private life of a nurse. Methodology: The objective of this research was to understand all aspects of the occupation and at the same time to examine the influence of the profession on private life. These are the reasons why it was more suitable to select a qualitative survey method which was more personal and could go deeper to the given problems. The main research survey was conducted by means of a semi-structured interview which was always held in the environment selected by a respondent. The interview was carried out separately due to the possibility to obtain new facts or to compare different opinions with gender balance. Open questions were asked with a relatively wide scope to enable more extensive answers. It was unnecessary to always ask all the questions and their order was not strictly determined. Besides interviews, other survey methods were used; both qualitative ones to supplement the atmosphere during interviews, and quantitative ones in the form of an anonymous poll. The poll was not pre-planned and it only dealt with a general level of the occupation of nurse. Research cohort: The object of the research survey was partners or married couples who lived together for various periods of time, of whom one of the partners worked as a nurse in health care. The total number of respondents was 16, of which 8 women-nurses and 8 men, partners of nurses. 210 respondents participated in the poll.
