Předkládaná bakalářská práce analyzuje vliv aplikování různých výukových metod na praktické schopnosti žáků 9. třídy ZŠ v oblasti geologie, a to konkrétně v oblasti poznávání nerostů a hornin. Sběr dat byl proveden prostřednictvím strukturovaného rozhovoru s učiteli geologie, resp. přírodopisu, didaktickým testem vědomostí žáků a analýzou používaných učebnic na zapojených základních školách v Jihlavě a jejím blízkém okolí. Výzkumem bylo ověřeno, že si žáci lépe osvojují znalosti z geologie, pokud je při výuce aktivně používaná sbírka nerostů a hornin, a že projevují více zájmu o učivo geologie při použití praktických výukových metod, než při slovních metodách výuky. The presented bachelor thesis aims to find out how teaching methods can influence practical skills of the 9th grade pupils at primary school in geology especially during the determination of minerals and rocks. Data source was derived from structured interviews with teachers of geology (respectively biology), testing of the pupils and analysis of the textbooks used in the studied schools. The research was located in district Jihlava. The results of research show that pupils acquire better knowledge if using of the collection of minerals and rocks is practically integrated within teaching process. Moreover pupils are more interested in the subject matter if teachers use practical teaching methods than those are verbal.
