V diplomové práci na téma Reprezentace hrdiny a antihrdiny v britské fantasy literatuře se autorka zaměří na typologii postav v žánru fantasy. Bude se soustředit na rozlišení postav na hrdiny a antihrdiny a popíše specifika jejich reprezentace v dílech britských autorů, a to především v díle J. R. R. Tolkiena, C. S. Lewise, J. K. Rowling, P. Pullmana, N. Gaimana a T. Pratchetta. Teoretické poznatky bude autorka čerpat především z publikace Josepha Campbella s názvem Tisíc tváří hrdiny: Archetyp hrdiny v proměnách věků a z knihy Archetyp a nevědomí Carla Gustava Junga Získané poznatky bude demonstrovat na vybraných textech výše zmíněných autorů. The author of this thesis Representation of the hero and the antihero in the British fantasy literature deals with the typology of characters within the genre. She focuses on the distinction between a hero and an antihero and discribes the characteristic features of their representation in the pieces written by British authors, including particularly the work of J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, J. K. Rowling, P. Pullman, N. Gaiman and T. Pratchett. The theoretical background is provided by the publication The Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell and a book titled The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious. Gained pieces of information are confronted with the texts named above.
