Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá interpretací a komparací tří narativních textů anglofonní literatury, kterými jsou Velmi modré oči Toni Morrisonové, Třináct měsíců Davida Mitchella a Cesta Cormacka McCarthyho, se zaměřením na dětského hrdinu, jeho cítění a prožívání. Cílem této práce je charakterizovat proměny a reakce dítěte, ke kterým dochází konfrontací s jeho okolím a se světem dospělých, které reflektuje dětskou optikou. Tato charakteristika je následně porovnána s názory současné vývojové psychologie. This bachelor thesis adresses the interpretation and comparison of three narrative texts of Anglophone literature, namely The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, Black Swan Green by David Mitchell and The Road by Cormac McCarthy, whilst focusing on child protagonist, his feelings and sentiments. This thesis aims to characterize alterations and reactions of a child which are caused by confrontations with his surroundings and the adult world and which he reflects through a child's eye. This characterization is subsequently confronted with the views of contemporary developmental psychology.
