Bakalářská práce se zabývá pěstováním cukrové řepy a jejím potravinářským a nepotravinářským využitím. První částí bakalářské práce je obecná část, která pojednává o tom, odkud cukrovka pochází, její botanice, agrotechnice, hnojení, založení porostu, regulaci chorob a škůdců, regulaci zaplevelení, sklizni a jejím uskladnění. Dále jsou v této části uvedeny informace o chemicko-technologickém složení bulvy, odbytu bulev a jejím využití v potravinářství či nepotravinářství. V závěru bakalářské práce jsou pak shrnuty základní údaje o cukrové řepě. This bachelor thesis is focused on growing of sugar beet and also on its use in food and other industry. The first part, general one, describes the origin of the sugar beet, botany, agro technology, fertilization, creating of the growth, regulation of diseases and pests, regulation of weed infestation, gathering of a crop and its storage. This part also includes information about chemical technological composition of the plant tuber, and there is also considered its sale in the market and its use in the food or other industry. The final section of the paper summarizes basic data about sugar beet.
