Abstract: Subject of the bachelor thesis is the comparison of the Green Party in the Czech Republic and in the Federal Republic of Germany. The first part of the thesis includes the history of Green Parties and the concept of green politics. In the second part of the thesis is given consideration to the programmatics of Green Parties. The third part of the thesis contains the results of Green Parties in regional - provincial elections and nationwide - federal elections in the period from 2002 to 2006. The fourth part of the thesis constitutes the comparison and analysis of the results. The purpose of the thesis is the evaluation of the position of Green Parties in the party system in the Czech Republic and in the Federal Republic of Germany in the regional and national level.
