Hlavním cílem bakalářeké práce s názvem Strategický rozvoj cestovního ruchu v Mladé Vožici bylo zhodnocení potenciálu města pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu. Analýza současného stavu a terénní šetření bylo podkladem k hodnocení nabídky a poptávky cestovního ruchu města. Návštěvníci i místní občané nejčastěji spojují Mladou Vožici s pojmy hezké město a krásná příroda. Důležité bylo zjištění, že se lidé do města pravidelně vracejí hlavně kvůli sportovní, rekreační a kulturní nabídce. Hlavním turistickým cílem je hrad Šelmberk. Právě pro rozvoj sportovně-rekreačního a kulturně-historického cestovní ruch nabízí Mladá Vožice vhodné podmínky. The main objective of this bachelor's thesis titled Strategic development of tourism in Mladá Vožice was to evaluate the potential of the city for tourism development. Analysis of the current state and field research was the basis for the assessment of offer and demand of town tourism. Visitors and local citizens most often link Mladá Vožice with concepts such as pretty town and beautiful countryside. Important finding was that tourists regularly return to the city mainly because of sports, leisure and cultural offer. The main tourist destination is the castle Šelmberk. Now for the development of sports and recreational and cultural- historical tourism Mladá Vožice offers suitable conditions.
