Tato práce je ve své teoretické části zaměřena na přiblížení pojmu cloud computing a technologií spojených s tímto fenoménem moderní doby. Čtenář bude seznámen s běžně užívanými termíny a praktickými příklady. Podrobněji se práce také zabývá zvolenou platformou Windows Azure. V praktické části se práce soustředí na vyhodnocení dotazníkového průzkumu zaměřeného na využití technologie cloud computing v praxi, konkrétně v prostředí českých podniků. Následuje návrh a vyhodnocení řešení v modelovém podniku, kde spolu soupeří on-premise a SaaS řešení pro stejné účely. This bachelor thesis is in its theoretical part focused on the concept of the cloud computing and the technologies associated with this phenomena of this modern era. The reader will be introduced to commonly used terms and practical examples. The thesis also deals with the platform of Windows Azure in more detail. The practical part is based on the evaluation of the survey focused on the use of cloud computing in practice, particularly in an environment of Czech companies. This is followed by the design and evaluation of solutions in a model company where they competes on-premise and SaaS solutions for the same purposes.
