Práce zachycuje bankovní systém ve Vietnamu. Je rozdělena do tří částí. V první kapitole se snaží podat základní charakteristiku Vietnamu a důležité kroky na cestě k moderní tržní ekonomice. Druhá, nejobsáhlejší kapitola je zaměřena na bankovní systém. Nejprve se zabývá jejím vývojem a dále se soustřeďuje na centrální banku. Nechybí zde ani náhled do komerčního bankovního sektoru a jiných finančních institucí. Třetí a zároveň poslední část celkově shrnuje dosavadní vývoj a snaží se navrhnout trendy budoucnosti. This thesis focuses on the banking system in Vietnam. It is divided into three chapters. The first chapter includes the basic characteristics of Vietnam and its recent steps towards the modern market economy. The second chapter deals with the banking system. It first looks at the history of Vietnamese banking, and then describes the modern central bank. This part is devoted to commercial banks and other financial institutions as well. The last part summarises the trends up to now and discusses possible future developments.
