Práce se zabývá zákony na ochranu lidských práv, občanskou společností, teorií i praxí sociální práce a hodnotami, které jsou východiskem pro praxi sociální práce. Hledá odpověď na otázku, zda je sociální práce profesí lidských práv, a jestli sociální pracovníci plní úlohu prostředníků mezi společností a klienty sociální práce.Sociální práce rezignovala na teoretický rozvoj, je degradována na výkon sociální politiky. Neplní roli prostředníka mezi společností a klienty. V České republice dochází k porušování lidských práv, nebo nejsou naplňována zcela. Sociální práce selhává v oblasti prevence porušování lidských práv. The thesis is concerning human rights legislation, civil society, theory of social work and work experience, and values that mean solution for social work experience. It is looking for an answer to a question, whether the social work is in fact human rights profession, and whether social workers perform a role of a mediator between a society and social work clients. Social work resigned on theoretical development, it is demoted to social politics execution. It does not play the role of the mediator between the society and the clients. There are violated human rights in the Czech Republic or human rights are not followed completely. Social work fails to prevent violation of human rights.
