Teoretická část práce obsahuje, co je stáří a jaké změny ho provází (psychické, fyzické, sociální). V této práci také najdeme shrnutí od historie po součastnou dobu v péči o staré lidi v ČR. Dále pak, jaká je podpora pečujících o seniory ze strany státu. Jaké sociální služby nabízí stát v domácí péči o starého člověka. Praktická část obsahuje výběr 10 respondentů, kteří o seniory pečují. Zde jsem využila terenního šetření techniku dotazníku. Dotazník byl zaměřen na to, zda respondenti využívají nabídku sociálních služeb od státu. Též jaké služby by se jim hodily a jestli je nabídka sociálních služeb v jejich okolí dostatečná. A co by ještě zlepšili v přístupu státu k těm, kteří pečují o seniory v domácím prostředí. The theoretical part includes what is an old age and what changes accompanied it (physical, mental, social). In this work you will also find a summary since the history until the current time in the care of the elderly in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, what is the support of caregivers for the elderly from the state and what social services the state offers in an old people´s homecare. The practical part contains a selection of 10 respondents, who care for the elderly. Here I used a field survey - a questionnaire. The questionnaire focused on, whether respondents use the offers of social services from the state. Also, what services they would need and if the offer of social services in their area is sufficient. And what else would improve the state's approach to those, who care for seniors at home.
