Cílem práce je popsat, jaký vliv na psychiku a celkovou psychosociální pohodu malého dítěte má jeho umístění do denní institucionální péče z důvodu nástupu matky do zaměstnání. Teoretická část je zaměřena nejprve na exkurz do historie s ohledem na vývoj postavení žen a dětí ve společnosti. Následně je pak mapována současná situace zaměstnaných žen a vliv jejich nepřítomnosti na malé dítě z psychologického pohledu. Praktická část je věnována zjišťování, jak dalece může v negativním smyslu ovlivnit psychický a emoční rozvoj dítěte předčasný nástup matky do zaměstnání a umístění dítěte do předškolního zařízení po dobu její nepřítomnosti v rodině. The aim of this thesis is to describe the impact on the psyche and overall psychosocial well-being of a small child if it is placed in the daily institutional care due to the entry to employ- ment of mother. The theoretical part focuses at first on the excursion into history with regard to the deve-lopment of women and children in society. Subsequently the current situation of women in employment and the impact of their absence for the small child from a psychological perspective is mapped. The practical part is devoted to identify how far the mental and emotional development of the child can be negatively affected when a mother takes up an employment early and a child is placed in a preschool facility during the time of her absence in the family.
