Práce se zabývá analýzou ukazatele střední délky života ve zdraví v České republice. Zpočátku se práce věnuje popisu evropských organizací věnujících se rozvoji tohoto ukazatele a dále pak vybraným evropským harmonizovaným šetřením, z kterých lze čerpat data pro výpočet ukazatele. Dále jsou zde rozebrány rizikové faktory ovlivňující zdraví a zdravotní stav obyvatel a je zde nastíněn i problém stárnutí populace. Výpočet samotného ukazatele střední délky života ve zdraví je prováděn Sullivanovou metodou. Ukazatel střední délky života ve zdraví je počítán na základě třech různých vymezení zdraví, která byla použita ve výběrovém šetření EU-SILC. Tato práce analyzuje zjištěné prevalence dle různých vymezení zdraví a dále pak také ukazatele střední délky života ve zdraví za rok 2007, odděleně pro muže a ženy. Dále pak srovnává ukazatele mezi roky 2005 a 2007. V závěru je proveden výpočet variability a testování hypotézy o shodnosti ukazatele střední délky života ve zdraví vymezeným subjektivním zdravím mezi muži a ženami v roce 2007. This work deals with an analysis of the Healthy Life Expectancy indicator for the Czech Republic. At the beginning, this work describes different European organizations that are focused on the development of this indicator and also describes selected European harmonized surveys which can be a data source for the calculation of the indicator. Then it includes an analysis of risk factors affecting health and health conditions and outlines the problem of the aging population of the Czech Republic. Healthy Life Expectancy indicator is calculated here by Sullivan method. Healthy Life Expectancy indicator is calculated on the basis of three different definitions of health, which were used in the sample survey EU-SILC. This paper analyzes the prevalence rates found by different definitions of health and then also analyzes indicators of Healthy Life Expectancy in 2007, separately for men and women. Then the paper compares the indicators between the years 2005 and 2007. Variability is calculated at the end as well as testing of hypothesis about the equality of Healthy Life Expectancy indicators (calculated according to subjective health prevalence rates) between men and women in 2007.
