Cílem práce je identifikovat rozdíly v postavení mužů a žen u Policie ČR, které mohou nepříznivě ovlivnit kariérní postup příslušnic policie a zároveň popsat typické genderové stereotypy, které ženy předurčují do určitých pracovních pozic a k určitým pracovním úkonům.Bakalářská práce se ve své teoretické části zabývá vymezením základních pojmů gender, genderové stereotypy, genderová identita a genderová socializace. Popisuje pracovněprávní vztahy, postavení žen v pracovněprávních vztazích, zásady rovného zacházení, zákazu diskriminace. Dále charakterizuje policii České republiky, náplň práce policie ČR, povinnosti policisty a předpoklady pro přijetí do služebního poměru. Zvláštní kapitolu zde tvoří pracovní podmínky příslušnic bezpečnostních sborů.Praktická část práce na základě dotazníkového šetření a rozhovorů odpovídá na výzkumné otázky. Výsledky jsou zpracovány do přehledných tabulek a grafů s podrobnými komentáři zjištěných údajů a vypočtených parametrů.V závěru práce je provedena diskuze dosažených výsledků. Souhrnně lze konstatovat, že v řadách policie stále přetrvávají genderové stereotypy.Bakalářská práce vychází ze současné právní úpravy právního postavení žen v pracovněprávních vztazích a odráží právní stav platný k 1.9.2013. This bachelor´s thesis deals with the Gender issue in the armed police forces. I focused on the differences in the position of men and women working for the Police ČR which could affect career of the policewomen. I also pick the gender stereotypes which predetermine the women for certain posts and tasks. Result of my work is the review of the questionnaire and the suggested solution which should lead women to posts, not yet, fully occupied by them. The theoretical part of my thesis defines terms as: gender, gender stereotypes, the characteristic of labor relations, principles of equal treatment and non discrimination.The main part contains the status of women in labor relations and the special position of pregnant women , nursing women and mothers within nine months after child delivery in labor law in selected institutions. The bachelor´s thesis is based on the current legislation of women position in labor relations and reflects the legal situation valid till 1.9.2013.
