Bakalářská práce se zabývá životem zrakově postižených dětí v České republice. Cílem práce je předat základní informace o zrakovém postižení a o úloze rodiny při integraci zrakově postižených dětí do společnosti, což je demonstrováno případovou studií. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části se zaměříme na zraková postižení, jejich dělení, uvedeme přehled institucí, které se zabývají péčí, pomocí a edukací zrakově handicapovaných, zmíníme kompenzační pomůcky, dále se zaměříme na možnosti integrace zrakově postižených dětí, zejména na vliv rodiny v celém procesu. V praktické části vycházíme z rozhovorů se zrakově postiženými a jejich rodinami. Výzkumné otázky směřují především ke zjištění stavu, možností či případných překážek v procesu integrace zrakově postižených dětí do společnosti. Bakalářská práce je určena pro širokou laickou veřejnost, může být ale rovněž prospěšná sociálním pedagogům pro orientaci v dané problematice. The bachelor thesis deals with the life of visually impaired children in the Czech Republic. The objective of this work is to provide basic information about the visual impairment and the role of the family in the integration of visually impaired children into society, which is demonstrated by a case study. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part is focused on visual impairments, their division, it provides overview of institutions dealing with care, support and education of visually handicapped, it mentions mobility aids, and finally it deals with the possibility of the integration of visually impaired children, especially the influence of the family in the whole process. Practical part is based on interviews with visually impaired children and their families. The research questions are aimed mainly to determine status, opportunities and possible obstacles in the integration of visually impaired children into society. The bachelor thesis is intended for general public, but may be also beneficial to social educators as guidance on this issue.
