Diplomová práce se zabývá věkem vrcholné výkonnosti tenisových hráčů a hráček na olympijských hrách a grandslamových turnajích v letech 1970 - 2011. Na základě nashromážděných dat, která obsahují datum narození prvních osmi hráčů, jsou zpracovány a vyhodnoceny výsledky pomocí programu Microsoft Excel. Výstupní data jsou zpracována v tabulkách a grafech, ze kterých lze vyčíst vývoj věkového průměru hráčů i hráček. Tato skutečnost může posloužit k plánování sportovního tréninku. This thesis deals with the peak performance age of male and female tennis players in the Olympics and the Grand Slam tournaments in the years 1970 - 2011. Based on collected data which includes dates of birth of the first eight players the results are processed and evaluated using Microsoft Office. Output data is compiled in tables and graphs, where we can see the development of the average age of players and female players. This may serve for planning better sports training
