Tato práce se zabývá obrazy zvířat, jejich rolí a významem v básních Emily Dickinsonové. Od Dickinsonové a jejího vztahu ke zvířatům se dostanu přes všeobecnou charakteristiku obrazů až k obrazům zvířat, které jsou nejprve obecně popsány, a poté se dále zaměřuji na jednotlivé skupiny. Práce obsahuje rozbory básní, na kterých je výše uvedené demonstrováno. The thesis focuses on images of animals, their roles and meanings in the poems of Emily Dickinson. Starting with Dickinson and her relationship to animals, I will move to general characteristic of images and then to images of animals, which are at first described generally, then I will aim on the particular groups of animals. The ideas said above are demonstrated on the interpretations of poems, which are included in the thesis.
