Hudebníci potřebují zaznamenávat melodie do not. Na papír se noty píšou velmi pohodlně, ale ztrácíme výhody digitalizace -- snadné šíření a strojové přehrávání not. Na druhou stranu uživatelské rozhraní počítače není uzpůsobeno pro psaní not a ovládání notových editorů není triviální. Hudebníci tedy tíhnou k zápisu hudby do prostého textu. Příkladem jsou nám nesčetné internetové zpěvníky, kde se hudba minimalisticky značí akordickými značkami, pozicovanými nad místem ve zpívaném textu. Tento prostý text však není možno jednoduše přehrát. Právě program Mordent, kterého se naše práce týká, se snaží být mezičlánkem mezi prostým textem a partiturou. Jedná se o aplikaci pro hudebníky; je napsána v objektově orientovaném PHP a využívá sazečský procesor Lilypond, aby z uživatelského vstupu generovala soubory typu PDF, PNG či MIDI. První verze aplikace však byla omezená a nepříliš uživatelsky přívětivá. Testování mezi uživateli přineslo podněty k vylepšení. Tato práce dokumentuje průběh testování a významné změny, které aplikaci rozšířily: nové vlastnosti editoru, změna designu, aby byl kompatibilní s mobilními zařízeními, a konečně sérii hudebních her pro podporu sluchových schopností a hudební nauky. Musicians need to notate their melody into music scores. If they use paper (which is highly comfortable), they lose the digitalizing advantages -- easy sharing and computer playback. On the other side, computer user interface has not been adjusted for music notation and the control of music editors is not trivial. So musicians tend to notate the music in plain text. The innumerable count of internet songbook can serve us as an example where the music is in a minimalistic way indicated by chord marks, positioned above the lyrics. Nevertheless, this plain text can not by easily played. Our work concerns program Mordent that tends to serve as a connecting link between plain text and music score. It is an application for musicians; it is written in object-oriented PHP and uses typesetting processor Lilypond to create PDF, PNG, and MIDI files from user input. First version of the application was limited and not much user-friendly. The user testing brought some new improving suggestions. This work documents the course of the testing and significant changes that extended the application: new editor behaviour, mobile-devices compatible redesign, and eventually the set of games, suitable for practising of musical hearing ability and music theory.
