Cílem práce je odhadnout tržní hodnotu vlastního kapitálu OKD, a.s. k 31. 12. 2012. Účelem ocenění je zjistit pro třetí stranu (potenciálního investora) tržní hodnotu vlastního kapitálu OKD, a.s. při případném prodeji podílu ve společnosti. Diplomovou práci lze rozdělit na dvě hlavní části, a sice na teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část vymezuje základní východiska oceňování. Praktická část obsahuje strategickou a finanční analýzu společnosti, následuje analýza generátorů hodnoty, finanční plán a nakonec samotné ocenění OKD, a.s. metodou diskontovaných volných peněžních toků ve variantě FCFF. Jako doplňkové jsou použity metoda účetní hodnoty a ocenění pomocí odvětvových multiplikátorů. The aim of this diploma thesis is to estimate equity market value of the company OKD,a.s. as of 31.12.2012. The value of the company is to be stated for the purpose of a potential purchase. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part determines basic valuation criteria. The practical part includes strategic and financial analysis, analysis of value drivers and financial plan. DCF Entity method of valuation is implemented as the principal one.
