Vnitřní migrace je jedna z možných cest pro snižování nezaměstnanosti v rámci daného státu. Cílem této práce je srovnat objem vnitřní migrace mezi regiony NUTS II v České republice a Rakousku a pokusit se určit faktory, které na migrační toky působí. Výsledky ukazují, že pro Rakousko je charakteristická vyšší vnitřní migrace, zahraniční migrace, ale i dojíždění za prací do jiného regionu. Protože Česká republika ve všech těchto ukazatelích zaostává, je nutné zjistit, zda mají na vnitřní migraci obou států vliv stejné faktory. Konkrétně je zkoumán vztah meziregionální migrace a průměrného disponibilního příjmu, míry nezaměstnanosti, počtu volných pracovních míst, velikosti a vzdálenosti regionů, přičemž využívám metodu vícenásobné lineární regresní analýzy. Zatímco v České republice je vnitřní migrace motivována ekonomickými faktory, v Rakousku se vztah migrace a vybraných proměnných nepotvrdil. Práce tedy zjistila, že obyvatelé Rakouska jsou aktivnější, pokud jde o stěhování, ale toto stěhování má zřejmě jiné než ekonomické podněty. Internal migration is one of the possible ways to reduce unemployment within the country. The aim of this paper is to compare the volume of internal migration between NUTS II regions in the Czech Republic and Austria and to try to identify factors that act to the migration flows. The results show that Austria is characterized by increased internal migration, international migration, as well as commuting to work in another region. Since the Czech Republic all these indicators lagging behind, it is necessary to determine whether the internal migration of both states is influenced by the same factors. Specifically, the paper examined the relationship of interregional migration and the average disposable income, unemployment rate, number of vacancies, the size and distance of regions, using the method of multiple linear regression analysis. While in the Czech Republic the internal migration is motivated by economic factors, in Austria, the relationship of migration and selected variables was not confirmed. The paper finds that residents of Austria are more active in terms of migration, but this move has obviously other than economic incentives.
