Primárním cílem mé práce je analýza implementace konkurenceschopnosti v EU. První kapitola je věnována charakterizování pojmu konkurenceschopnost a její měření. Obsahem druhé kapitoly je implementace Lisabonské strategie, její zhodnocení, dále popis nové strategie Evropa 2020, zhodnocení její dvouleté účinnosti a závěr kapitoly shrnuje příspěvek východního rozšíření ke konkurenceschopnosti EU a jeho budoucí potenciál. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na analýzu česko-německých hospodářských vztahů na pozadí vývoje konkurenceschopnosti. The primary goal of my thesis is to analyse the implementation of the EU's competitiveness. First chapter is devoted to the characterization of competitiveness and its measurement. The content of the second chapter is the implementation of Lisbon Strategy, its evaluation, a description of the new Europe 2020 Strategy, evaluate its two years effectiveness, and the end of the chapter summarizes the contribution of the eastern enlargement of the EU's competitiveness and its future potential. The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the Czech-German economic relations in the background of the development of competitiveness.
