[cze][eng] Práce se věnuje postavení Íránu v soudobých mezinárodních vztazích. První kapitola analyzuje jeho pozici z hlediska historických souvislostí. Druhá kapitola pak studuje moc ve státě a vliv na zahraniční politku, věnuje se ší'itskému islámu - mučednictví a očekávání příchodu dvanáctého imáma, vlivu ší'ismu na terorismus a diskutuje ekonomické faktory - ropu a zemní plyn a íránské vlastnictví těchto surovin ve světovém měřítku. Třetí kapitola je o tvorbě zahraniční politiky. Konečně ve čtvrté je analyzován vztah Íránu a vybranými zeměmi, hlavně jeho vztah se Spojenými státy - ekonomické sankce, jaderný program, zbrojní průmysl, recyklace petrodolaru. Dále jsou řešeny vztahy s Ruskem, Čínou a Izraelem. V poslední subkapitole je popsáno alternativní vysvětlení blízkovýchodního uspořádání za pomoci íránské rétoriky.The diploma thesis analyses the role of Iran in contemporary relations. It discuss its position by means of its historic background, its religious beliefs, its economic situation, the monetary aspects and its inner politic situation. The main attention is focused on its relations with the United States of America, particularly on economic ties, petrodollar policy and on the Iranian nuclear program threat. It also pays attention to the context of oil importance in the Middle East and to the Israeli foreign policy.
